Kedarkantha is a mountain peak of the Himalayas in Uttarakhand, India. Its elevation is 12,500 ft. Kedarkantha is located within Govind Wildlife Sanctuary in Uttarkashi district. A trek to the peak of Kedarkantha usually starts from Sankri, a small village, and takes 5 days to complete.

day 1 will be head to Sankri which is 210 km awayfrom Dehradun. You will reach there by drive. It will take around 10 hrs. Overnight stay will be at our Homestay (matri devi Homestay) with veg and organic food.
On second day, you will trek from Sankri basecamp to the beautiful Juda Lake. It is said that Lord Shiva used to came at this place for meditation. You will witness this lake at frozen state during winters. Overnight stay will be at the camp.
Now will head to the Kedarkantha Basecamp from Juda Lake. It will take 4-5 hrs approx. You can enjoy and explore the scenic beauty and take a round nearby. You will take rest on the camp.
On day 4,we will leave for the Kedarkantha Summit at 2 am. Yes, you read right. In the night. It is because, so that you will not miss the mesmerising sunrise from kedarkantha for which the travelers come from different corners of the country. You may have to sacrifice your half sleep for that but trust me, the experience will be priceless.
On the same day, we will return back to our homestay Sankri. Overnight stay will be there.
So, your trek ends here. On day 5, you will head to Dehradun by drive. You will reach Dehradun by 5 or 6 pm. And after that you can leave for your home or work place with the collection of memories for life.
